Dr Rob Tinch is a Director and full-time consultant with Environmental Futures Ltd. His work focuses on biodiversity economics and management, wetland management, environmental valuation, climate economics, transport economics, waste management, and marine economics. He is based in Brussels.
Rob has worked on a large number of consultancy and research projects, many focusing on environmental valuation and biodiversity issues. Prior to working for Environmental Futures Ltd he was a Lecturer in the UK’s leading School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia. He was a consultant with eftec before moving into academia, and before that was an Economic Assistant at the then Department of Transport.
Rob often collaborates with Spanish consultancy Median SCP and with UK consultancy eftec in the UK, and represents eftec in Brussels. He has for several years been involved in the European Platform for Biodiversity Research Strategy (EPBRS), previously as a steering committee member and now as the representative of the RUBICODE project.
